Hi, I’m Nicki Cameron, founder of The Art of Dog Photography
Small Business Sunday – Winner Nicki Cameron being presented with her certificate by Theo Paphitis of Dragons Den.

” Being a Dog Photographer is my dream job and I have the most beautiful (yes, I’m unashamedly biased! ) assistant – my Welsh Collie, Fern.
She’s always by my side, ‘helping’ with editing and posing as my model. We love to be outdoors, walking in the countryside and look forward to our Scottish holidays. The more remote, the better.
My favourite pastimes are eating out, chatting with friends over a glass of red and all manner of get-togethers with my family, who mean everything to me.
Sport is huge in my world. I’m a life long supporter of my football team (nope, I’m not going to say which one) and I can be seen screaming at the telly when they’re playing badly. I regularly play badminton & tennis and spend most of my time in trainers, ready for my next activity.
To say I’m crazy about dogs is an understatement and I’m incredibly lucky to combine this with my other obsession, photography.
I was a dog walker for nearly 20 years and I’ve worked with most breeds including a lively and inquisitive Cockapoo puppy, an elderly deaf King Charles, a very ‘feisty’ Jack Russell and a huge, daft, goofball of a Bouvier de Flandres.
Clients choose me to take photographs of their dogs because I’m comfortable, relaxed and knowledgeable, helping both clients and dogs to get the most out of their experience in front of my lens. Expertise in both photography and dogs enables me to catch those perfect moments whether they’re for a lifestyle scene, product image, action shot or a portrait.”
